Hubert Enviro Care Systems (HECS) participated in IFAT India 2026 in Mumbai, engaging with industry professionals, visitors and stakeholders across three days of discussions and technology demonstrations. The exhibition provided a platform to showcase wastewater treatment solutions, exchange technical insights and explore opportunities to advance sustainable water management.
Engaging with Government Representatives on Sustainable Wastewater Management

A key highlight of the opening day was the visit of Hounarable Smt. Agnimitra Paul, Minister-in-Charge, Department of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Government of West Bengal, to the HECS stall. Discussions explored the potential for supporting the West Bengal Government with sustainable and innovative wastewater treatment solutions.
The interaction highlighted the importance of effective wastewater infrastructure in addressing evolving urban water management requirements. HECS welcomed the opportunity to discuss technology-led approaches that can support wastewater treatment needs across different applications.

Bringing Wastewater Treatment Technologies to Life Through 3D Visualization

Technology demonstrations remained a central part of the HECS showcase, with the 3D walkthrough experience emerging as a major attraction on Day 2. The immersive digital visualization helped visitors understand wastewater treatment processes, system configurations and engineering concepts more clearly.
The experience offered an engaging way to explore HECS capabilities across sewage treatment plants (STPs), effluent treatment plants (ETPs) and packaged wastewater treatment systems. Technologies such as Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR), Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) and Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) form part of the broader treatment technology landscape relevant to diverse wastewater treatment requirements.
The showcase also reflected the growing role of digitalization in environmental engineering. IoT-enabled monitoring, automation and smart wastewater management can support improved operational visibility and more informed system management when appropriately implemented.
By combining engineering expertise with digital visualization, HECS made complex treatment concepts more accessible to visitors seeking practical wastewater treatment solutions.
Three Days of Industry Engagement and New Opportunities

IFAT India Mumbai, HECS engaged with industry professionals, visitors and stakeholders, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss wastewater management challenges and explore potential areas of future collaboration.
The conversations reflected the continuing importance of reliable wastewater treatment technologies, efficient operations and sustainable approaches to water management across industrial and urban applications.
For HECS, the exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to present its capabilities, understand industry requirements and strengthen professional engagement within the environmental solutions sector.
The Conversations Continue
IFAT India 2026 concluded with three impactful days of technology showcasing, knowledge exchange and industry interaction. HECS extends its appreciation to everyone who visited the stall and engaged with the team.
The exhibition may be over, but the conversations continue. HECS looks forward to continued engagement with industry stakeholders and exploring potential future collaborations that contribute to sustainable wastewater treatment and responsible water management.
